Thanks Maggie, I am lucky enough to find kindness elsewhere, very lucky in fact, but the lack of it at home gets me down for a home should be full of it shouldn't it?
The only good thing about crap is that it never ever lasts forever... unless you accept and enjoy it. I don't think that's you at all. Even a year from now things will be ineffably better.
Dearest Suburbia: I am with you in spirit. Back from my holidays and slowly catching up ... so appreciated your Letter from the Past, which made me cry (well done you - so BRAVE!) and touched by your current predicament. All strength to you, lovely girl. xx
What a powerful poem, Suburbia! Too bad it's based on personal experience--I hope that soon your house will be full of kindness once again--you deserve it!
My brother mentioned that now he looks back on events from the past and it's like his ex-other half isn't even there as though his brain has pasted her out of the equation.
Odd but shows there is brighter futures to come hopefully. "This too shall pass" as they say
In any relationship, by not acting you are acting. To move forward is to act hopefully in a healthy way. If you are living this way in real life, my heart goes out to you.

Very succinct, very poignant. I do hope the present awful situation gets resolved very soon.
Thinking of you and the horrible situation you are in.Hoping that you will be able to get your own space soon.
I can identify with this. We all need acts of kindness in our lives in order to survive properly.
I have found other bloggers to be extremely kind when people you know seem to let you down.
Hoping that you receive kindness in your life very soon and that your present unhappiness can be soon remedied. X

In the first instance I think you need cake. And someone to make you dinner.....
Which you do so beautifully :)
It's all so corrosive, isn't it? So heart-wrenchingly well-expressed, Sub. Reminds me, only too clearly...
I can feel you chafing at the reins....
Yes, you should expect kindness at home. Karma will come around and the unkind will meet with the same.
You will rise above and soar.
considering kindness is free and plentiful its a damned shame there is so little of it in supply
Kindness is sooooo important, and respect for each other. You will soon be "well out of this"
My thoughts are with you

That sounds awful.
Glad I'm not there.
