I love the style of William Morris so spending the day at Standen in Sussex meant I was in heaven again, feasting my eyes on many of his original prints and fabrics all together in one place, as well as seeing furniture, pottery and other beautiful objects by well know crafts people of the time.
I hope you like the photos, some of which are not too clear as no flash photography was allowed...

That's the next one on my list Bessy :-)
Lovely! I love visiting historic houses like this. You were lucky you were able to take photos, which are great by the way. When I visited the Biltmore Mansion in May, we couldn't even take pictures inside the house.
I love William Morris's designs. And I was amused by the old-fashioned bath. Imagine trying to wash yourself properly in one of those!
Oh, I want that bedroom!
Loved the tour. and Your camera worked great with available light. More and more I am shifting to available light for most everything.
I used to mingle arts and crafts with my photography, but my first love lies with my camera.
I really love these photos and am pleased you were able to snap such lovely things.
