Ahhhh, the massive birthday/Christmas/partying season is now officially over, with Small Sprogs Event being the closing feature! Now it's not that I don't enjoy partying and present giving, I love it, but why does it all have to be so close together? From Tall Girls celebrations in November to Small Sprogs at the end of January, it seems like one long round of shopping, wrapping and eating; Phew!
So, what next? Well I'm going to try a short counselling course in the Spring and see how I get along with that, with a view to a diploma in the future. Maybe I'll be useless at it or maybe it will feel 'right'. I've tinkered with the idea for so many years, nothing ventured nothing gained. I am hopeful, and sometimes that's the main thing.
Oh, and you can pop over to my new blog (attached to this one) if you fancy? It's an indulgence; a photo-a-day blog. Loads of them about I know and I did it last year but via Facebook/Instagram and it morphed into something else in the end. So this time it's just for me, a photo diary for the year and not very interesting to anyone but me, but I'm there if you want to hop over...just sayin'

Definitely go for the diploma - having goals and learning new things is the healthiest way to be.
Thanks for your encouragement Steve :-)
I hope you find the counselling course a good experience. Just a hunch, but I think you might be very good at it.
Now that you're all partied out, what's next?
And I'll check your other blog.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
A counselling course? Very adventurous. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. There's certainly plenty of demand for counselling nowadays. Thankfully it's no longer seen as a lot of self-absorbed nonsense.
Good luck with the councelling. I know some one else who did the course and now she is doing private work that is going very well entirely by word of mouth from satisfied customers.

good luck with the counselling course. I'm half way through my first year. I'm on the 1 year... 1 year then 2 year diploma route due to not having anything relevant in my back pocket.
Happy to share experience if you want to once you get into it - it has been hugely educational even if I don't follow it all the way - although if I don't I've sort of lost the plot a bit then!
Good luck on the course. I'm doing a level 2 1 year course at the moment. Plan was/is another 1 year for level 3 then 2 years for the diploma if that all comes together... I don't know where I'll go if not as I have little in the way of plan b... or is it z now?
Happy to share experience if you want once you are on it. I've found it hugely educational so far
Good luck on the counseling--sounds exciting, and definitely worth pursuing.
Where is the link to your other blog? I was going to check it out, but I must have overlooked it somewhere.
Hi Rose Thank you for the encouragement, good to hear from you. Below is the link :-)

Hi Furtheron
I'd love to share please! Also would like to know if you are doing distance learning or local and who the provider is? I've found a locally run course for the short course but am waiting on a prospectus for Sept year long one. I need to do more research so any knowledge you have would be fab :-)
(Email on profile page ) thanks for offering
I'm sure you will be really good at counselling.
And I meant to say good news about your work stress being relieved. x
Best of luck with the diploma, I never managed to finish any study course I started as an adult, so I have huge admiration for anyone who can xx
