With much moaning and gnashing of teeth I managed to get Small Sprog and Tall Girl up the Malvern hills today! As you can see it was well worth the effort. Well almost!
Chris, the views were panoramic, england one side and wales the other!
Yes Starnitesky at least we were in the right place at the right time.
Susan, come over and I'll take you there :)
Akelamalu, the fresh air wore them out!!
Welcome SJAnne, it was a day trip that I've been wanting to do for a while. When I lived in Cheltenham I walked up there regularly and it is so peaceful with fantastic views.
We took a 20 mile round trip cycle ride across the South Downs yesterday. It started out well, dry but cloudy, and a third into the ride the heavens opened and didn't stop for the rest of the way, and we could see nothing but mist! Needlesstosay we arrived home soaking wet and cold, I can't remember ever being so wet in my life, but nothing a warm shower couldn't sort out. I'd rather be outside than in, and the Malvern Hills look lovely, we must pay them a visit. x
I bet the views are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI love the Malvern Hills, you chose the right day. Well done.
