ABC Wednesday

The letter L

L is for longing

This is Small Sprog on holiday last year.

It was our last evening and he was sad.

All he wanted to do was help the children on the

other side of the water with a spot off crabbing, but sadly we had to leave.

Poor Small Sprog!

  12. What a well dressed , well prepared-for-life chap. He's got a ticket to ride, of that I'm pretty sure.

I don't see longing as a lasting emotion in that; as a fellow chap, I see *potential* in SS's upcoming chapness.

I may have missed the longing in this because I probably can't empathise with that as a single fellow with no children (yet), but perhaps I see different, equally valid stuff?

  17. Hi Maggie. I am too ashamed to post about it after hving made so much fuss!! It was a pain free and quick filling. Still £40 though!

BS5, no perhaps about it. Just your ever present positivity and enthusiasm for life coming through. I should have added in the post that we ahd been out for dinner (early/children time!)because he does look a tad overdressed for the beach!

Brett that is high prase indeed from you. Thanks you so much (a long way to go though!!)

  19. I could feel his sadness. I always feel sad to leave the water, whether it is an ocean, a lake, a stream.
