Beautiful photos! Now if I only had nasturtiums in my garden, this is what I would have posted today, too:) (I didn't participate this week--no good ideas.)
ReplyDeletethe leaves are just as pretty as the flowers! I like your banner shot too.
ReplyDeleteDo you eat them?
ReplyDeleteThey are delicious. A bit peppery. You can put them on salad.
I could never get them to grow in the US.
Such a stunning color.
Nasturtiums ..... you are doing well to grow those. They are usually covered in black fly!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are really beautiful. Did you know that you can eat them on salads? A lovely post!
Hi Suburbia, I love nasturtiums, and I like to eat its leaves! They have a peppery taste and are great in salads. Not too many though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. The children are my grandchildren.
Very beautiful, a wonderful red!
ReplyDeleteMy parents used to have a lot of these in our yard...
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a teenager and doing a lot of darkroom work, I used to take those big flat leaves and contact print them on some of that special photo paper that had a green base color...
Nasturtiums are certainly NICE flowers for the letter N on ABC Wednesday.

The photos reminded me of an old Homer and Jethro parody of The Yellow Rose Of Texas. The line was
ReplyDeleteYou can take your nasturtiums
And take your violets too
And while your at it take
your yellow rose of Texas too.

Wonderful photos. I do love nasturtiums but hate the fact that once you've got them you can't get rid of them and they grow everywhere!
ReplyDeletede bien jolie photos pour cette lettre N
ReplyDeleteSuch bright happy flowers and a good choice for the letter N.
ReplyDeleteI love nasturtiums! My son thinks they're weeds, but I love the garden full of them!

I must get some nasturtiums for my garden next year! :D
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these flowers, but didn't get round to planting any this year :)
ReplyDeleteOH! I wish my camera was working...your photos are super!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to have the nasturtiums flowering so late in the season. Mine are still doing really well in the garden. Such a shame when the hard frosts finish them off. Yours are looking lovely, the colour in them is so vibrant. x
ReplyDeleteRed is a favourite of mine, in the garden, so I really like nasturtiums. I no longer grow them, though, because of black fly. Are you bothered by black fly? Have you found the secret of keeping them away?
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs. Very healthy looking plants. My nasturtiums have not done much this year.
ReplyDeleteNever thought of Nasturtiums even though they've been on my plot like a weed this year!
ReplyDeleteA nice set of photos.
I love nasturtiums!
ReplyDeleteI love Nasturtiums. The fill your borders and flower for months. Can't bring myself to spoil the display and put them in a salad though, can you?
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Thank you for the brief wander through your garden. I love gardens.

I love nasturtiums, too - but if I plant them they usually get eaten by caterpillars. They seem to looove them!
ReplyDeleteNice bright photos - I love the one of water on the leaf! I hope you join in next week too!
