ABC Wednesday...................

.......This week we have reached the letter Q



Q is for Quay


I took this picture some years ago on the quayside of a tiny little


harbour near St Just in Roseland in Cornwall.


In fact it was hardly a harbour, just a small river inlet used by a few locals.


When I took the photo the tide was out so there was just a


muddy patch where the watershould have been!


So no pictureseque views of the river but


I just couldn't resist capturing all the bright colours of the buoys!

    Great choice for Q and the colors are a knockout. I love the way you used the confusion of things on the dock to your advantage. My choice was nautical as well.

    Ahhh, it makes me want to get out to the water... it is so hot out though that there aren't even any puddles!

    I considered a quayside Q but went with some queens - just been watching Sky News - the giant screen in Piccadilly Gardens broke down and thousands of disgruntled fans are causing mayhem - I saw a glimpse of someone on the back of QV's statue

    That's lovely - though it took me a while to see the Q connection! Cornwall is almost as nice as Wales.
