W could have been for wedding anniversary, but
it was a bit of a non-event! SO....... W is for Wisteria in my garden,
However the flowers are long gone so it looks like this!
Still quite pretty, thanks to a little solitary bee who neatly
cuts chunks from the leaves for his nest in a pot nearby.
ABC Wednesday is hosted by Mrs. Nesbit. To take part or see other participants
visit Mrs. Nesbits place!
I love wisteria! Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteSadly my wisteria's died, so well done on your healthy specimen :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sub,
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice post. I like the idea of your quietly industrious little bee.
Very beautiful:) Love that colour!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely post and the bees make neat holes! Great W.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visits at mine and I know I am not getting around blogs like I did - sorry. It's as much as I can do sometimes to post. I WILL get organised eventually!
You have a lovely wisteria. Those are very neat and tidy holes that the bee has made - very decorative!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Cheery pics!
ReplyDeleteHi reader Wil and Petunia.
ReplyDeleteVP it's all due to husbands great pruning skills (or so he says!)
BS5, yes the bee is cute but I think somethings 'got' him today as I can't see his nest hole :(
Nice to have you back.
Hi Crazycath, nice to see you and no pressure!!
Hi Dragonstar and Alaina.

That solitary bee makes a terrific hole punch! I hope you got to enjoy those lovely blooms. x
ReplyDeleteBS5 Yes, how could you desert me in a time of fun!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Nesbitt, unfortunatly it wilts quickly!
Susan, yes the smell is lovely. It's a shame you can't keep the smell once the flowers have gone.
Welcome Beth, and Rose, no celebration dinner at all :(
Elizabeth, x? I have no idea!
That's pretty. A bee did that? I thought it was meant to be. Very neat, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLet's not talk about anniversaries ...
Hello from California! This is my first visit, thanks to ABC Wednesday. I posted a wisteria photo too.
ReplyDeleteThat nest-building bee has got me curious...I've never heard of bees building nests before. And what very neat and tidy perfect circles he makes in the leaves!
