This week we have reached the letter E
E is for Egg
in my old
Noddy egg cup!
He even had a hat to keep my boiled egg warm.
Thanks for keeping him all these years Mum!
ABC Wednesday was started by Mrs Nesbitt.
More can be found on the ABC Wednesday no-comment blog,
and on ABC Wednesday Mr Linky .
Oh!!!Lovely! I remember when my children were young how funny and pleasant it was to prepare and make them eat boiled eggs !
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit !
Miss Yves
How cute! Now, see there was a reason your Mum had so much stuff in her attic:)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, going to be gone for a few days--will check back here on Monday. Have a good weekend!
How adorable is that egg cup.
ReplyDeleteAnd the little hat is so cute.
You have given me an idea for some unusual Christmas presents for my young grandsons.
A-hunting I must go to find something similar.
Thank you.
Bear((( )))
What a great noddy egg cup! And a Lion on your egg too!
ReplyDeleteDelightful eggcup!
ReplyDeleteBTW I got an A for my AS Photography, thanks for asking.
That is SO cute! When I was a girl, my parents always had boiled eggs and we'd get a new egg cup every Easter morning. We don't seem to have boiled eggs so much anymore, though.
ReplyDeleteGreat posting for letter E, I enjoyed the shots and thought behind it. Good photography.
ReplyDeleteWow! You managed not to lose the hat through the vagaries of youth! Dedication indeed.
ReplyDeleteBS5, actually my mum lost the old hat but because she is such a sweetie (and I'm her only child!!) She made Noddy a new one when she passed him on to my kids, bless her:)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you will indulge in a similar loving act for SS or TG when the time comes? :)
ReplyDeleteProbably but she is a bit loopy too (in a nice way)!
ReplyDeleteIt's late I must go to bed!
Thanks for the congrats, I never know whether to answer on my blog or yours! Celebrate - I am not sure ....
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute Denise. Love all the stuff from yesteryear...so whimsical.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanx for your comments. I think I will have to go for another week to daughters before school starts.
What a sweet egg cup!
ReplyDeleteDo they still stamp eggs with a lion - I haven't noticed.
Oooo! That's a valuable heirloom! And so sweet, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment on Wednesday, I appreciate it.
Just found your ABC Wednesday - think Noddy egg cup is wonderful and how lovely to still have him for your children to use. A x
ReplyDeleteThat egg cup is really cute :-)
ReplyDeleteMy mum had this egg cup amongst many other collectible ones. One day the shelf she had them lined up on fell off the wall. Most smashed to smitherines. Poor Mum was mortified. Doesn't say much for my step-dad's talent for DIY. x
