Spring in her step.....

'It's blue sky out there'
'No it's grey clouds'
'Well the sun is shining so it must be blue somewhere!'
Much later.........Tall girl runs down the stairs ( as fast as size 7 and a half's can make it down steep stairs, avoiding the low ceiling at the same time).
'Look! I've caught some!'
'Caught some what?'
In the palm of her hand, fine white pearls of ice, sweet excitement on her face. Tall girl has caught hail out of the bedroom window!

I painted this while we were away last week.

The cottage garden was full of spring flowers.

Hey there's a nice painting - why so quiet about your talents? Any more pix to show your readership? :)

Wow, you're very talented! The grape hyacinth are out in their multitudes now. (Do you ever start a sentence and realise you don't know where you're going with it?)

I like catching fairies to.

Thanks for your kind comment BS5. I did a few more on holiday but I have to be inspired to paint and that doesn't happen much around here.

Liz, yes all the time! Pixies do it for me!!!

Suburbia: You are welcome! :)

Liz: Yes to your quandary in parentheses...all the time in fact but the articulate delight is to chase the sense of it and manage some sort of recovery before the arrival of the full st..

I agree. The painting is lovely. So are you going to frame it, put it up, or put it away?
And seeing as you have this lovely one, I'm sure you have more, rIght? Hint, hint.

Thanks Starnitesky, Cherrypie and Jules, I may put it up. I do have a few more but wish I had more time to paint. I'll have to stop blogging!
