It's my Birthday!

I have had a lovely day, relaxing and being waited on.

I have had birthday wishes from friends and am always touched that anyone should think of me.

I am blessed with wonderful children; My daughter has pulled out all the stops, she has looked after me, bought me a thoughtful gift, protected me when Husband dropped off Small Sprog after camp. I couldn't ask for more.

A lovely Mum; who organised a surprise cake for the children to give me.
And friends, who have called both in person and by text and phone.

I am Blessed and grateful and smiling.

Go on, virtual cake, have some, you know you want to.....!

Happy Birthday!

Sounds like you are being well and truly (and appropriately) spoiled. Yay! You deserve some good times!

Would love a piece of cake; thanks.

The usually-indiscrete Bear won't ask how old you are; I'll simply assume somewhere between 29 and 39, and leave it at that.

Happy Birthday! It looks like you had a superlative one. But watch that cake closely, I've got my eye on it. You might find there's only the plate left tomorrow morning.

A happy, happy birthday, Suburbia! I thought of you this morning as I was wrapping presents for my Grandson's birthday party--he turned 3 today. The cake looks delicious, but I've already had a piece of Batman cake, so I'd better pass on any more sugary confections:) I'm glad you had such a wonderful day--you deserve it!

Happy (belated) birthday.

I had a great Father's Day - getting gifts I wasn't expecting from kids I don't deserve at times... :-)

Who's eaten all the cake? Any wine left? I've brought my own glass! I couldn't call by yesterday, as I went up to the Midlands to spend the day with my parents. You must have saved me something surely? ;0)

Glad you had a good day!

(Thanks for you comment at mine. I replied there.)

Sorry I missed your birthday by five weeks! Sounds like it was a good one. I daresay that cake's a bit blue around the edges by now! x
