Almost daily diary!

Holidays

In case I don't get time to post on Monday, hope you all have a good week! Bunnies are off to the Bunnie Hotel tomorrow, not the same one as last time, hopefully better. And we are traveling early Tuesday morning.

This pic is of my foot on the beach that I hope to be walking on very soon! The flip flops in the foreground are Tall Girls! They look bigger than my feet don't you think?! We went to see her Grandma today. Tall Girl has grown taller than Grandma now, having grown taller than my mum a few months ago! I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and she has her sights set on that next.

Small Sprog woke early this morning feeling sick. I'm not sure whether he's panicking about flying or putting it on so that he can watch TV first thing in the morning!! He has been fine all day and Husband says NOTHING is going to stop him getting on that plane! He has also banned me from checking the weather (again) on the web!

My natural father and I have a sort of obsession with the weather and when he phones we often have long conversations about it!! I know, it's a bit strange but I swear it's in the genes. He has gauges for rain fall and temperature and has been keeping a diary for as long as he can remember in which he logs his weather data. He will call tomorrow to speak before we go away. Strange really, seeing as he left when I was 8 years old and I didn't find him again until Small Sprog was born. We have a strange connection even though we don't know each other the way we should. I have never held it against him that he left mum and me. I think she managed to do that for both of us! It is such a relief to know him now, before it was like a little bit was missing.

Well this was meant to be a short post to say goodbye for a while. It seems to have got a bit mixed up! Anyway, no blogging for a week will take some getting used to. What am I going to do for a whole week?!!

Have a wonderful time - and living in Melbourne, yes, I check the weather frequently because our weather patterns are so unstable!

Have a great holiday! I'm not fond of flying either but am better since I flew to Paris last year! Prior to that I was in N. Ireland when 9-11 happened. My flight was to leave Sept. 14th..we did fly out actually but needless to say I was a tad bit nervous! All is good now! I will flying again to your neck of the woods the end of June- well close. I am going on holiday back to N. Ireland to visit my cousins! Well take care and enjoy your rest!

Take care and have a really great week! Nice foot, by the way!

We will MISS you!

Ironically your world time clock has stopped at midnight as I am commenting just now, a touch before 6.

Hope you all have a wonderful time! (No.1's feet have now grown to the same size as mine - she s thrilled that we can 'share shoes'. I'm hoping her feet continue to grow, so she'll leave my shoes alone!) x

What are you going to do--more like what are WE going to do with an entire week sans Suburbia? Don't you know I live vicariously through other people's blogs?!

Have a fantastic holiday! Ah...Spain...so beautiful this time of year! I miss Andalusia!

Hey Suburbia, I thoroughly approve of the nail polish, in fact I think I have got some of that myself.

Enjoy your well earned hols, I am sure small sprog will be fine once he is distracted on the plane. Best wishes to you and your family from Bobo (whose computer is unplugged while he decorates) and me.

My daughter is close to 6'2". She was 5' 10 1/2" at the age of 10. I'm 5'7" and I think she was taller than me at the age of 8! She wears size 11 shoes and it wasn't until 5-10 years ago that shoe makers smartened up and realized a lot of girls are growing much taller. It used to be the only kind of shoes Kaitlin could find were like old lady orthopedics. Now they're making a lot more stylish shoes for the taller girls and women. About time!!

Oh, I've missed you! That will teach me to skimp on blog visiting just because Husband is home (what is it with husbands, suggesting we're obsessed with blogging?)

Hope the flights are perfect and the holiday just wonderful. We'll look forward to seeing the photies when you get back all tanned and sexy.

I am not really into feet but OHMYGOD YOUR TOES ARE GORGEOUS. I will have to go and lie down now. I want your feet (urgh, not in a sexual way. I just mean that they are pretty. Mine are not. Oh dear, this is all coming out wrong...)

I hope you have a great time. I always make sure my toenails are painted before we go on holiday! It is great you have a good relationship with your Dad, finally now you have got to know him. At least talking about the weather keeps you connected. I am always amazed at how much we are all like our parents, even though you hate to admit it! x

I'm glad that you managed to find your father, after all of those years without him.

Sorry I missed you. Hope you had a good holiday and found plenty to do!

Have a wonderful time. There is life besides blogging. I had to manage all week & found myself writing posts in my head & on a pad & listening for interesting things to blog about & photos to go on the blogger! It never ends!!!!!!!!!

Are you back? Are you back? Are you back?

I hate it when people I like go away.

I hope you brought sweeties back or I may well be a tad huffy.
