Feeling better!

Today I watched children (not mine) perform their end of term play. They were fab and the tears of laughter were rolling down my face by the end of the performance. There's nothing like a belly laugh to cheer you up. Sometimes I really do love my job!

Then, my solicitor rang and I had a chat through things with her. I feel there may be a small light -though just a pin head for now- at the end of the very long tunnel, so that's good. And she said I don't need to do the list of possessions as comprehensively as I'd thought, which is thankful because I just couldn't get my head around that task.

Lastly, my lovely friend and mother of two and I, with Small Sprog and Tall Girl are going to go on holiday together. I have just booked it! It's not far and not for long but its a great thing to look forward to. Yay!

I am very lucky to have good friends. I am thankful.

What are you looking forward to?

Oh I love children's performances - they can be so funny!

I'm looking forward to 7 weeks off work, a week of which will be spent in Abersoch, Wales, a day at the seaside (weather permitting) with our five grandchildren and a couple of weekends away! I'm happy.:)

Glad the pendulum was swinging up today. I've had a good day too - had my graduation ceremony from Uni which I will blog about soon. Also heard some good news regarding some money I'm coming into. Light at the end of the tunnel for me too. :-)

So glad that everything is working out well and really pleased that you have a holiday planned. Time does go so quickly & we should enjoy things while we can.
End of term feeling is really lovely in a school and most of the children are *high as kites*
There will be many tears when Yr 6 leave (sighs of relief from some of the staff!)
Why are some schools already on holiday & we have another week to go?

Things I am looking forward to? Daughter & grandsons coming next weekend ands we go to visit them a couple of weeks later!
Thing that I am dreading...... Son & granddaughters going to Japan for FOUR WEEKS! I'm sure I will find plenty to do, but I have got SO close to them & the place will be so quiet as well as my technical support disappearing!!

Right now, I am looking forward to Bobo coming home from his boy weekend, so I can fall into his arms and give him the biggest cuddle ever.

Looks like a good day. Positive signs from the solicitor and a holiday lined up. All I'm looking forward to at the moment is getting our new house properly organised so I can just relax and enjoy it!

I watched a series about Paul Merton going around India - he met up with a bunch of folks in Chennia I think it was, anyway they met on the beach every morning and had a laughing session to make them feel good.

I am looking forward to the next few days, my sainted Ma In Law has just gone back home (south of Bristol!) from her annual 10 day holiday up here.

the house has not been mine for that time.

I have cooked, cleaned and totally been the hostess with the mostest, with no actual appreciation for my hard work, so I am looking forward to just being Back To NOrmal.

good for you on the holiday booking!

There are some pics of my Ma In Law stress on the dog blog, no need to comment though, I am just so not being a Comment Tart today with my comments! sorry, been away from the blogs since her visitation so lots to catch up with!

take care, all will be well soon, once this horrible transitory period is over with.
